Changes to the University Car Parking Scheme
Due to the ongoing pandemic, there have been a number of changes to the University Car Parking Scheme.
New Parking Website
All parking information is on the new parking website https://in.beds.ac.uk/facilities/parking/
This website provides the following information:
New Permits- For those staff currently in the Parking Scheme
Over the last few months, we have updated all UOB parking permits and these now need to be sent out to you in the post due to Covid- 19 restrictions. Please complete the address form which is found here https://in.beds.ac.uk/facilities/parking/ additionally, if you have changed your vehicle in the last year you will also need to complete a change of details form which is found here https://in.beds.ac.uk/facilities/parking/.
Staff who park in NCP or Power Court will also need to complete the address form as we will be issuing a cross-campus permit, which will allow you to park at the Bedford campus.
If you don’t complete the relevant form it could result in a delay to your permit being sent out.
Cancellations
Staff who wish to leave the scheme must complete the online form found at https://in.beds.ac.uk/facilities/parking/ under ‘parking cancellation’.
Please be aware that if you do cancel and then decide to re-join the scheme later you will be added to the waiting list for your chosen car park but we cannot guarantee when or whether a space will become available.
Once you have completed the online form you will need to return your current permit or NCP card. This can be done via the post or can be dropped off to either Luton or Bedford Campus Reception/Security, please note that we will not be able to fully process your cancellation until your permit has been received.

New Starters
For any new starters that wish to join the parking scheme please complete the online form found at https://in.beds.ac.uk/facilities/parking/ under ‘request to join the parking scheme’. You will be added to a waiting list for your chosen car park and contacted when a space becomes available.
