Join our STEM colleagues and students for activities in The Mall TODAY

This week is our Festival of Science and Engineering!

Our STEM colleagues have organised an exciting and engaging schedule to celebrate British Science Week, including our students and academics taking over the Central Mall space all day today, Tuesday 10 March.

Staff, students, shoppers, families and passers-by will be able to take part in some hands on activities and get inspired by science and engineering.

You will be able to take part in virtual reality demonstrations, as well making DNA bracelets and getting up close and personal with a variety of scientific curios and robots. Other activities include a Batak reaction challenge, a fingerprint scanner and 3D internal image exploration.

Step into STEM today... head to The Mall, Luton anytime before 6pm.

Plus, don't forget about our other free events - Dr Paul Sant's lunchtime lecture on Thursday 12, 'What does Artificial Intelligence hold for our future?', and our 'A Taste of Science' event (with free pizza and scientific discussions) on Friday 13.
