Wellbeing Wednesday - Body Image
How do you think and feel about yourself physically? Do you worry about how others see you?
This workshop is for staff who struggle with the way they perceive their appearance. It will explore what the term ‘body image’ means, factors that can affect our body image, different representations of beauty, and steps that we can take to improve our own body image.
It also examines the link between a person’s perception and beliefs regarding their own body image, their physical self and the thoughts, feelings and behaviour that result from that perception.
If you feel insecure about the way you look and want to learn more about body image and the support available if you are struggling to accept your own body image, join others on Wednesday 9th June 12.00 pm -1.30 pm.
