Alex Pavel

After almost two years of battling two aggressive cancers, our much-loved colleague Alex Pavel passed away on the 17th of May 2021. Her parents would like to share Alex’s funeral arrangements with you and you are warmly welcomed to attend.

Alex's funeral service will be on 3rd June 2021 at 13:30 hrs at the Sacred Heart Church, 148 Ashcroft Road, Stopsley, Luton LU2 9AY, Phone 01582-723099. There is ample space of 86 to 100 persons with social distancing. Parking is also available on the premises of the Church as well as in the street.

The cremation is at 14:30 hrs at Vale Cemetery & Crematorium Luton, The Vale, Butterfield Green Road, Luton LU2 8DD. but it only accommodates 25 people. The reception is at Putteridge Bury, Hitchin Road, Luton, LU2 8LE and can accommodate 30 people. Please do let Alex’s father, Nicolae Pavel Nicolae.Pavel@beds.ac.uk know if you plan to attend.
