We are so pleased to launch our new staff awards this week, the Vice Chancellor’s Awards: Proud to be Beds.
The awards will follow a new format that celebrates all the reasons why we are ‘Proud to be Beds’ and applaud all of the people that make us proud to be a part of our University’s community. These awards are to recognise the outstanding individual, colleague and team achievements over the past academic year.
What makes you ‘Proud to be Beds’?
We should all be very proud of what we have achieved during an unpredictable and unusual period, but now is the time to recognise the achievements and nominate yourself, a colleague or a team for their contributions.
Did you deliver a project of impactful research? Is one of your colleagues an inspirational teacher? Do you know a team that has gone above and beyond to improve our students’ experiences? These are the individuals and teams that make us proud to work at Bedfordshire, and these are the people and groups who should be nominated in the Vice Chancellor’s Awards: Proud to be Beds.
In the Vice Chancellor’s Awards, you can nominate a colleague, a team or self-nominate in the following 11 categories which make us ‘Proud to be Beds’:
You will find definitions of each award category, and more information on the awards, on our dedicated in.Beds pages here. The closing date for nominations is Friday 16 April 2021.

We look forward to finding out what makes you ‘Proud to be Beds’.
