Narratives of Childhood Summer Exhibition

The School of Education and English is proud to present the Narratives of Childhood Summer Exhibition on Tuesday 17th May 2022 from 11-1pm in the Gateway Building, Bedford Campus.

This event is the cumulation of students work from the Narratives of Childhood unit. First year and foundation students from all our degree courses have studied the stories of childhood, looking at the diversity of childhood experience through the history of education, the cultural lives of children through books, games and toys and the different ways in which childhood is constructed through social policy and children’s rights. Students have drawn upon their learning to create original exhibition pieces, using their artwork, collected artefacts and providing opportunities for interactive fun.
