Staff survey: Policy for the audio-visual recording of taught sessions
This survey is an opportunity for academic and relevant professional services staff to express their views on, and help to shape, the university's draft policy for the audio-visual recording of taught sessions.
The audio-visual recording of taught sessions, or lecture capture, has become common practice across the UK higher education sector. The University of Bedfordshire has recently expanded its provision of this facility, increasing the number of suitably equipped classrooms from 13 to 63.
It has also developed a draft policy to act as the ethical, legal and pedagogical framework for this practice. This survey is an opportunity for academic and relevant professional services staff to express their views on, and help to shape, the policy. It seeks to foster a collaborative and collegiate approach to policy creation and explore specific issues staff may be facing.
This survey is part of a research project, which has been approved by IREd. Link to the survey: https://forms.office.com/r/H4RH44XFDU
