Can you help a child in poverty this summer?
For the past 8 years, the Access and Outreach Team have run with a local charity The Level Trust, summer schools for children aged 8-12 living in poverty in Luton.
Sadly this year, due to Covid-19, we are unable to run our onsite summer schools which was going to based on 'The Lion King', but the charity still needs are help.
Since the start of the pandemic there has been a 54% increase of people accessing Universal Credit in Luton, which means more families are now experiencing and living in hardship.
With the charity we are aiming to outreach to 250 kids in Luton by providing fun resource packs, telephone support and access to additional funding for key essentials and food.
