Enable SITS Live MFA

ICT will be enabling Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) known in SITS as OpenID to the SITS Live environment. This change will be roll-out in three phases.

As part of this deployment the current SITsLivev10.1 icon will be removed and replaced with a new SITS Live MFA icon. There is no system downtime.

Phase 1 - Tuesday 12th October The new SITS Live icon will be applied and available for all VDI users. The MFA link will be added to e:Vision.

Phase 2 - Wednesday 13th October Remote VPN users will need to be logged on to their computers and on to VPN to receive the icon. If you are using an office computer you will need to ensure that you leave the computer switched on. ICT will initiate roll-out of the new icon to SITS user’s desktop at set intervals until phase 3.

Phase 3 - Monday 18th October Fully enable MFA - only the new MFA icon and the e:Vision MFA link will allow access to SITS Live. To enable a smooth transition users who have not received the new icon will still be able to access SITS Live via the current icon during phase 1 & 2.

By phase 3 you must have the new icon as this will be the only access to SITS Live. If you have any concerns or questions please contact ICT.
