Vice Chancellors Awards: Proud to be Beds deadline for nominations extended
We are happy to announce that the deadline for submitting your nominations for the Vice Chancellor’s Awards: Proud to be Beds has been extended to Friday 22 April.
This gives you another two whole weeks to really think about who makes you Proud to be Beds.
So while you sit back and relax over the Easter break and tuck into some chocolate why don’t you put in a nomination for a colleague who’s inspiring teaching is making a difference to our students, or who is engaging our communities in new and creative ways, or anyone who makes you feel Proud to be Beds.
Remember that anyone can be nominated and there’s a category for every person, so no matter who has made you proud there’s a way to recognise their work. Also if you can’t think of anyone, you can always nominate yourself! And there’s no limit on the number of nominations you can put in.
You will find definitions of each award category, and more information on the awards, on our dedicated in.Beds pages here. Fill out our online form here to submit your nominations.
Once the nominations have closed leave some space in your diary on Wed 13 July for an afternoon at Putteridge Bury where we will be having an in person ceremony to celebrate our incredible Proud to be Beds winners. If you can’t attend in person don’t worry as the event will be streamed live over the internet.
We hope you will use the opportunity to highlight the work of colleagues and your own individual achievements. You have 500 words available to support your nomination, and we are looking forwarding to finding out what makes you ‘Proud to be Beds’.
