University testing centres open from 4 Jan 2021 for staff and students - book yours now
The asymptomatic testing centres at our Bedford and Luton campuses will re-open from 4 January 2021.
The testing centres will provide free NHS Covid-19 Lateral Flow antigen testing at our Bedford and Luton campuses for all staff and students.
Students will be encouraged to take part in this testing before returning to campus. Colleagues are also welcome to take tests. For asymptomatic testing, it is recommended you book to have two tests, three days apart.
We will not be allowing drop ins during this time, you must book online at: www.beds.ac.uk/covid19test

The testing centres are located in the Sports Hall at Bedford and on the ground floor of the PG Centre at Luton.

Lateral Flow Testing on asymptomatic individuals will show you do not have Covid-19 at the time the test was taken. The tests don’t guarantee that you will not catch the infection.
