If you work or study in Luton, you can get tested for Coronavirus
Central Bedfordshire Council said in an email alert (click here for the email), that anyone who works or studies in Luton can get tested for Covid-19 even if you have no symptoms.
The email reads: "We continue to monitor the coronavirus situation closely in Luton and the latest data (relating to last week’s test results) shows that the number of infections in Luton is lower than in previous weeks.
This is good news, but we will all need to be vigilant and work together to control the virus.
As part of the response to the outbreak in Luton, residents have been urged to get tested.
The testing is now available to anyone who lives, works or studies in the town, regardless of whether they have symptoms or not.
To book a test, visit the NHS coronavirus test booking webpage or call 119.
Choose ‘I do not have symptoms, but my local council has asked me to get a test’.
You will have a choice of a drive through, walk in test centre or you can ask for home test."
