Two Minute Silence, Monday 12 September

To commemorate the life and unwavering duty of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we will be holding a two minute silence at midday on Monday 12 September in the Campus Centre, Luton, The Gateway Building in Bedford and at our Putteridge Bury Campus. All staff and students are welcome to join in observing this mark of respect for the Queen. We ask that staff and students gather at the respective locations below and arrive no later than 11.50am. The Vice Chancellor at Luton, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr Julie Brunton at Bedford and Director of HR, Susan Shutter at Putteridge Bury will deliver a short tribute to Her Majesty shortly before the two-minute silence begins. Location for two minute silence at Midday, Monday 12 September: Luton: Ground Floor, Campus Centre Reception Area Bedford: Ground Floor Reception area, Gateway Building Putteridge Bury: Social Learning Space, Ground Floor We have also set up a memorial space in Luton (ground floor, the Campus Centre) and Bedford (ground floor, the Gateway building) with Books of Condolence to enable staff and students to pay their respects and remember the Queen.
