Currently the University aims to reduce its carbon emissions, waste and water, cultivate education and research for sustainability amongst stakeholders within and beyond the University and showcase our good practices. Such commitments to sustainability are explicit in our Transforming Bedfordshire, Estate, Education and Student Experience, and Research and Innovation strategies.
These aims build on the achievements we’ve already made but we know that we can go further. So, to ensure that we keep progressing and continue to build sustainability into all of our operations and activities, we have drafted a new sustainability strategy. This Conversation Café is the first step on our journey, and there will be many more events to follow.
