Give an Hour - Share your first-hand experience about apprenticeships

The South East Midlands Careers Hub are looking for young people with recent experiences of apprenticeships and technical qualifications. If you or a colleague (age 30 or under) are motivated to support and inspire others by sharing your experiences and journey, we invite you to volunteer between 11 and 15 March at a school, in either Bedfordshire or Northamptonshire. With support from the Careers Hub and Bedford College Group, volunteers will be part of a panel of 4/5 young people brought together to share with students age 11-13 first- hand experiences of technical and vocational courses / qualifications.

Support will be provided to volunteers to take turns to answer questions about their journey, the training completed, chosen industry etc. To volunteer, nominate a colleague or find out more, please click here.  This "Give an Hour" general volunteering activity open is to UoB staff and students.
