Latest information on receiving your booster vaccination against Covid-19
Following the announcement from the UK Government on 12 December 2021, the rules on who can receive their booster vaccination against Covid-19 have changed.
If you are over 30 years old:
You can book a booster vaccine or use a walk-in centre if it has been over three months since your second dose. If it has been over two months since your second dose, you can book an appointment to receive the booster once your third month has passed.
If you are over 18 years old:
You may be able to receive a booster vaccination at a walk-in centre if it has been more than three months since your second dose. This is dependent on location and you must check in advance for the latest NHS information.
It is expected that from Wednesday 15 December over 18s will be able to use a walk-in centre if it has been more than three months since your second dose. If it has been over two months since your second dose, you can book an appointment to receive the booster once your third month has passed.
Other circumstances:
Please remember you are able to receive your booster vaccine if you are a frontline health and social care worker, if you are the main carer for somebody at high risk from Covid-19, if you have a health condition that puts you at risk of becoming seriously ill from Covid-19 or if you live with somebody who is more likely to get infections (for example sombody with HIV or who is undergoing certain cancer treatments).
Please get vaccinated to help protect yourself and everybody else at Beds.
