Calista is running the London Marathon for Caring Together!
I am really honoured and excited to be running the October 2021 London Marathon for Caring Together and fundraising for this fantastic charity!
Caring Together support carers of all ages across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Norfolk and they also offer homecare services to adults and children with a range of disabilities and health conditions.
A carer is anyone, including children and adults, who looks after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction, and cannot cope without their support. The charity support more than 12,000 carers and their families every year, but there are an estimated 178,000 carers living in the region, and this number is rising.
Donations to UK charities has really dropped during this horrible pandemic and if you can spare a few pounds the money you donate will be put to such good use - all donations are very much appreciated including those that equate to the cost of a cup of coffee – it all helps!
