An Umbraco account allows you to edit sections of the University's websites. To set up an account please contact Andrea Madar. You need to include a link to the web section/web page you need access to in your message.
If you are a new academic staff member and don't have a staff profile page yet see how to get a profile page here (we are traditional craft people - set up manually - not automatically generated via an HR system).
When account is set up you will receive a confirmation email with login instructions and a password in a separate email. The confirmation email contains this link to a short video which covers the minimum for getting started with editing in Umbraco.
Many staff find that this video is informative enough to allow them to do basic text editing. But if you have more complex responsibilities and want more instruction, please see below.
To arrange a session please contact Andrea Madar.
If you are new to editing, I recommend a bespoke session on the basics of editing and managing files with Umbraco.
If you already know the basics you can also request bespoke sessions on a particular issue or function.
You can find help with lost passwords and watch more videos, including an archive of webinars from 2021 on our Support for Editors page.
