Appointing a Vice Chancellor: your opportunity to get involved by Internal Communications

Tim Sawyer, Chair of the Board of Governors, is pleased to tell you that we are about to begin the process to make a permanent appointment to the role of Vice Chancellor.

He would welcome help and participation from all colleagues in identifying and defining the attributes and abilities you think are necessary to lead our university.

Anyone is welcome to submit their thoughts to our executive search agency, Saxton Bampfylde (all responses will be anonymous) by answering the following questions:

1. What are the key opportunities and challenges at Bedfordshire, that the new Vice Chancellor will need to build upon/ meet/ develop?

2. What are the five main attributes that you would want to see in the new Vice Chancellor?

3. Any other comments.
