Luton council is launching a free 'Vaxi Taxi' service

Luton Council is trialling an initiative called Vaxi Taxi, which hopes to increase access and uptake for people who may otherwise have difficulties getting to and from vaccination sites.

The Luton “Vaxi Taxi” project is a joint initiative where a taxi will pick up the individual or household from their residential location in Luton and drop them off at any Luton vaccination site. Return journeys from the vaccination site to their place of residence in Luton will also be provided. There will be no cost to the journey for person or household being vaccinated.
