Central Bedfordshire Council Guidance
The following guidance has been sent by Central Bedfordshire Council:
'As I’m sure you know, there were further announcements this week regarding the next phase of meeting people outside your household.
You hear the word ‘relaxing rules’ being used quite a bit, but perhaps relaxing gives the wrong impression, as we all know – we’re not of the woods yet, it’s really important to remember that the virus has not gone away.
Indeed, it’s invisible in some cases, with some people showing no symptoms, so this still means that anyone can get it, and anyone can spread it.
The data about the number of COVID-19 cases is showing that the rates are still particularly high in Bedford and Luton at this time. The means, we need to still stay alert to Coronavirus, err on the side of caution and don’t risk your own health and other’s around you.
At the moment, we can meet outdoors in a group of up to six people but observe social distancing and keep two metres apart. For the time being, we must bite the bullet and avoid meeting indoors (there are slightly different rules for single adult households).'
