Alumni Relations is about maintaining affinity and building networks with our graduates across the world. The University’s dedicated Alumni Relations Manager is based on the fourth floor of the main Park Square block.
The Alumni Relations Manager is responsible for:
All graduates since 1990 are recorded on the database, both undergraduate and postgraduate. The database has over 80,000 records. The Alumni Relations Office is the first point of contact for graduates after they leave Bedfordshire.
Once on the database alumni are kept up to date with developments at the University and celebrate the achievements of other alumni via our Noteworthy e-zine, which is run twice a year. We are always looking for good stories so if you hear anything please contact us.
The alumni section of the University website provides news and information on alumni activity. At www.beds.ac.uk/alumni alumni can register, maintain contact details, read about developments and see photographs from events. The alumni association also has a presence on the social networking site LinkedIn. Join Linkedin here
The Development Office can also support you with fundraising expertise. Fundraising is an important external supplement to the University's own student support. Additional resources from external funders improves the student experience and enhances the positive contribution the University makes to Luton, Bedford and the wider community. We are already very lucky to have a good number of committed supporters, including many staff and some University alumni.
