Volunteer your time for Channel 5 & Anneka Rice next week in Luton!

The beloved 80/90s show is returning to our TV screens in 2023 and the production team from Channel 5 is in need of some volunteers! They are looking for people from the University to volunteer a couple of hours or more between the 2nd – 5th November to help them revamp Luton’s Sea Cadets HQ and support other local volunteers (family and friends are also welcome!). If you fancy manning the tea tent, assembling some flat-pack furniture or painting some walls, please consider spending some time to help the team out – it’s also a great way to promote the University’s community spirit!

Volunteers needed on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th November 2022

There is free parking on site, or it’s a very short walk from Luton Airport Parkway Station.

There will be free hot drinks, cold refreshments and snacks provided, as well as PPE (if needed) – and wear DIY clothes which you don’t mind getting dirty!

Please email press.office@beds.ac.uk if you are planning to help out, so that we are aware but Channel 5 are happy for you to just turn up too, if you decide to help out last minute!

Address: Sea Cadets Luton, Lower Harpenden Road, East Hyde, Luton, LU1 3JW – https://www.sea-cadets.org/luton
