Beds Covid-19 Lateral Flow Testing centres to close from 18 June

The Covid-19 Lateral Flow Testing centres at our Bedford and Luton campuses, located in the Sports Hall and PG Centre respectively, will close for testing on Friday 18 June 2021.

The decision has been made to close the testing centres due to a limited number of on-campus tests being booked by staff and students. We would like colleagues to know we are continually monitoring government guidance and we will be ready to reinstate the testing centres when there is a higher demand and should the government continue to support us to operate Lateral Flow Testing centres. 

Remember, colleagues and students can still collect Covid-19 Lateral Flow testing kits from our on-campus collection points.

You can collect your testing kits from:

• Luton Campus, Park Street – 9 am to 3 pm
• Bedford Campus, Gateway – 9 am to 3 pm
• Aylesbury Campus – colleagues can collect kits from the library 
• Putteridge Bury – colleagues can collect kits from Andrew Keen

You can also order home Covid-19 testing kits via the government website or get tested at local community testing centers in Luton, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, London Bridge and Birmingham.
