Sign up for our first digital Beds Talks: Beds Cares
We are very pleased to invite you to our first ever digital Beds Talks happening this Thursday – ‘Beds Cares: Has Covid changed how we think about carers?’.
Date: Thursday 26 November
Time: 10am - 12pm
Free online event hosted on Zoom
Beds Cares! Is a celebration of the informal carers in our Bedfordshire community and a chance to discuss research ideas about carer wellbeing going into the future.
The event will explore the question, has Covid changed how we think about carers? The event will be of particular interest for those people who are caring for family members, friends or neighbours.
The University invites all carers in our community: colleagues who are working carers, student carers and members of the public who are carers to come and join in.
Contributors include: Dr Emma Wilkinson & Dr Yannis Pappas (University of Bedfordshire), Dr Jitka Vseteckova (Open University) & Prof Marie-Pierre Moreau (Anglia Ruskin University), Carers in Bedfordshire, the Disability Resource Centre.
You will get to hear about some of the projects that researchers are working on, as well from local organisations who support carers in different ways. You will have a chance to share your experiences and guide plans to make sure they are addressing what is important in carers’ lives.
Click here to sign up via Eventbrite and you will be sent a link to join us via Zoom nearer to the event.
