LRSE our space community project

Learning Resources and Service Excellence are developing physical spaces in the Bedford and Luton libraries to bring the university community together to take time out, to connect, to communicate.

Our first project to bring people together is our library project. The idea is to create "fabric books" with a spine that has a word that is important to you. A place, your favourite film, music, a person, a belief, a feeling. This project will run over this term and we are inviting everyone to come to the libraries and borrow a spine to create your own book.

It's a great opportunity to take 10 minutes out of a busy day, to meet with people you may not have met before, to chat and create.

Check the Powerpoint attached to find out more and come over to the libraries this Friday 24th September as part of the Welcome Week activities, Friday is Library Day!
