Why Are We Using WISEflow?
Following the pivot towards online assessment during the initial stages of the pandemic, it became clear that the right online examination environment could significantly support the strategic objectives of the University of Bedfordshire. WISEflow was chosen for its ability to enhance both the student and staff experience of examinations, bringing consistency to the online examination process regardless of where students are studying.
Key Functions of WISEflow:
By integrating WISEflow, we aim to create a more efficient, secure, and user-friendly examination environment that aligns with our commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
Important Reminder about timings for examinations: An additional 30 minutes is added to each exam to accommodate technical issues and submission through WISEflow. Some exams may require students to convert documents to PDF and upload them.
We are also focused on enhancing the submission process for written exams. To achieve this, we have implemented the use of WISEflow's in-app editor for writing exams. This change reduces the need for PDF submissions, making the process more efficient and user-friendly. Unit leads who prefer not to use the in-app editor can opt-out in the exam confirmation exercise, ensuring flexibility.

The exam team has improved exam timetabling process. We have integrated a new exam function into our timetabling system. This system has been integrated with SITs. If your students are unable to see the exam they are expecting, please contact the exams team.
