Why Examination Boards in SITS/e:Vision?

The re-engineering of the Examination Board platform safeguards the University’s compliance with regulatory and statutory obligations as it is fully automated having embedded the University’s Academic Regulations in progression calculations. This will significantly reduce the risk of students receiving incorrect Examination Board outcomes and reduce time spent preparing, conducting, and finalising student outcomes.

The programme is led by executive sponsors, governed by the Data Governance and Student Systems Governance Groups, and overseen by the Infrastructure Investment Board, VCEG (Vice Chancellor’s Executive Group), and the University Board of Governors.

The improvements lay the foundations for further system and process improvements. These include awards, producing transcripts and mitigating circumstances processes.

Ask a question and FAQ’S

Our live training sessions being held until the 23rd January 2025 allow plenty of time for questions, and colleagues are welcome to attend multiple sessions.  Drop-in sessions will also be held once the training period is complete.

Frequently asked questions will be compiled during training and are updated on a regular basis.

Additionally, you can use the ‘Ask a Question’. Please allow 5 working days for a response.

Training took place between the 9th and 23rd January 2025. Tailored sessions were held for Academic and Professional Services colleagues. Training material including a recording can be found in Training Resources.

Drop-in sessions will be held now the training period is complete to support you with using the new platform. Dates are published below.
