Petition for the Removal of the After 8 Strip Club billboard's on New Bedford Road and Guildford Street

Advertisement billboards have gone up in prominent locations promoting After 8 Club's "Gentlemen's" club. They will be amongst the first thing visitors and new students coming by train will see of Luton, visible to all - children and adults. Local charity Azalea have created a petition to request the urgent removal of these adverts.

New Bedford Road and Guildford Street in Luton.

Why remove them?

These posters are inappropriate due to the language used, the services being advertised and the locations they are placed in. This is urgent because of the potential for at-risk young girls to see this and join the strip tease/gentlemen's club.

Azalea's initiative, LAST (Luton Against Sex Trafficking), want to make Luton a hostile place for sex trafficking and sexual violence to exist. How can this be achieved with such advertising permitted around the town? (Sadly LAST have seen a notable increase in sex trafficking via Luton Airport this year.)
