Black History Month (October) is coming up and this year Beds SU focus is Black power in the University and SU.
We will be starting petitions to diversify the curriculum and a university commitment to the attainment gap.
We are looking for BAME Lecturers/Professors/Entrepreneurs for our Executive Officers to interview about racism they have encountered in the higher education sector.
It will also be a piece of how to encourage more BaME representation in the university.
The interview will only take 15 mins and will be pre-recorded and you will be given the questions beforehand too.
This will hopefully be impactful to our BAME students.
