Who we are
The Home Admissions team work across two sites: Luton and Bedford.
The team process forms for full-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses made via UCAS (including some EU/International applications), part-time and full-time applications at postgraduate and undergraduate level for the majority of taught courses for those eligible to Home fees. We also process Apprenticeship applications and direct applications made via UK agents and partners.
What we do
- Offer advice and guidance about the application process and entry requirements
- Make decisions on entry on applications
- Arrange interviews
- Confirm offers
- Fee assess applicants
- Manage the annual university clearing and confirmation operation
- Participate in University open days and other recruitment events offering support to enquirers and applicants
- Manage the busy admission@beds.ac.uk email account and respond to telephone enquiries
