Marketing/Digital Marketing
Main Responsibilities
- Staff and main websites: providing technical help and adding and editing content.
- Providing Umbraco training
- Producing marketing materials (print and digital) such as prospectuses, Best of Beds, and other corporate marketing materials.
- Sending out materials and mailings to enquirers and applicants.
- Collecting student profiles and case studies.
- Providing promotional materials for events or departments.
- Carrying out market research and running focus groups and surveys.

Admissions
Main Responsibilities
- Processing applications for undergraduate full and part-time courses from applicants eligible to Home fees and make initial offers on EU/International UCAS applicants
- Processing applications for full-time and part-time postgraduate taught from applicants eligible to Home fees.
- Processing applications for teacher training courses through DfE Apply
- Arranging interviews, auditions and portfolio assessments.
- Undertaking applicant checks before entry – fee assessments, ID checks, DBS checks.
- Providing feedback to unsuccessful applicants.
- Co-ordinating and leading the University Clearing Operation.
- Reporting on applications, conversion and acceptances.
- Offering guidance on qualification development and reform
- Development of policies, processes, systems and strategy relating to admission

Student Recruitment (Home)
Main Responsibilities
- Working together with Deans and Heads of Departments and other colleagues to develop their student recruitment strategies, eg, holding faculty events to enhance recruitment.
- Leading on the development of a series of open events for enquirers and applicants, and the provision of regular campus tours.
- Delivering effective activities with schools, colleges and community groups to support recruitment to the University of Bedfordshire.
- Overseeing the development of relationships with schools and colleges to promote the opportunities available at the University of Bedfordshire.
- Enquiry management
- Telemarketing calls for open days, surveys and follow up calls.
- Managing Live Chat, including Virtual Open Days.
- Overseeing the University’s social media channels, eg Facebook, Twitter.
