These pages have been designed to provide you with all the necessary information required to participate in this year’s Clearing activity.
The term ‘Clearing’ refers to the final stage of the UCAS application and applies to those applicants who:
The main Clearing centre is located in the PG Centre, where we have a call centre operation staffed by temporary clearing call operators and the UK Admissions Team. The Academic Operation and Clearing control room are located in P202. If you wish to discuss any elements of the operation, please visit P202, where members of the Student Recruitment Team will be available to support and advise you.
For those colleagues who have previously supported Clearing, and have set up a UCAS Weblink Account, you do not need to register again with UCAS. Likewise, your EVision Clearing access remains active.
However, please check your access rights and familiarise yourself with these systems prior to Clearing 2026.
If you are new to Clearing and have not previously had a UCAS account, colleagues will need to register individually for access to UCAS Weblink. Please note that this must be completed by 5pm on Friday, 7th August 2026.
Register on UCAS and complete the registration task (you will need to register as a provider). You will need access to your emails during this process to obtain your unique verification code (which will be sent to you from UCAS).
Once registered, please inform SCL@beds.ac.uk so that you can be given access to the WebLink tile on your dashboard.
In addition to UCAS Weblink, you will require access to EVision Clearing.
Please log in to evision.beds.ac.uk, click on ‘staff login’ and check whether you have access to ‘Clearing’ (this will be a tab on the top bar on your EVision dashboard). If you do not have access to it, please log a request on the ICT helpdesk requesting access to ACAD_READ.
Where you are asked for the details of your line manager, please put David Seaton who will then approve your access rights.
