The Collaborative Projects Team works with a number of sector-level and cross-sector partner organisations to promote higher education. This includes working with Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), charities, businesses, funders, local schools, and other further and higher education institutions. The team also helps to build sustainable collaborative networks within the region and beyond.
A main focus of the team is delivering on the Office for Students (OfS) Uni Connect Programme
This brings together 29 partnerships of universities, colleges and other local partners to deliver outreach programmes to young people in year 7 upwards and adult learners.
The Aspire Higher programme is a partnership between the Universities of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Northampton. We connect local schools and colleges with universities and employers, helping to access opportunities for learners.
We also run targeted outreach activity with local schools to support the learners exposure to HE experiences and in meeting the Gatsby benchmarks. The programme has been running since January 2017.
