UNISON Uinversity of Beds branch AGM
A reminder that our Annual General Meeting is set for Wednesday 11th March 2020.
We are doing two runs of the meeting, and you can attend either one:
Bedford 10:00-11:30am G2.11
Luton 13:00-14:30 A420
Members are allowed time off to attend as per our agreement with the University.
If you have any issues with getting time off, please let us know.
Food and drink will be available at both meetings, and paperwork will follow beforehand. If you have any dietary needs for lunch please email sam.stredder@beds.ac.uk
If you are based at the Putteridge Bury site and would like to attend the Luton meeting but transport is an issue, please let us know as we are looking to make arrangements.
We are still looking for someone to stand as Treasurer, a core role that the branch are required to have. If you think you could be interested in this role, or want to find out more, please contact us at unison@beds.ac.uk The role does not involve representation of members, but keeping a record of hard copy expenses sheets, data entry into an online system for which training is available, and some meetings as part of the Branch Committee. Some "time off" allowance from normal duties will be allocated.
