A fruit tree pruning workshop has been organised by local community group Edible High Town. The event is open to Stockingstone Rd Allotment members, Edible High Town members and the local community.
Local tree expert Colin Carpenter will do some demonstrations and share his expertise on pruning. Then you'll be 'let loose' to prune the fruit trees in the Stockingstone Road Allotment Association (SRAA) community orchard. Colin will be around for the whole day to offer guidance and answer your questions.
Please wrap up warm and bring a packed lunch. If you have loppers, pruning saws, etc, please bring them, but we’ll have some, too. For more information and tickets, visit: sraa.uk.com
