The University is a member of the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium.
We encourage the University to use SUPC or nationally approved suppliers, where appropriate, as they represent value for money, providing very competitive prices along with good service.
If you plan to use a framework you MUST obtain quotes from all the suppliers on the particular lot on the framework or award the work to the number one supplier on the framework evaluation.
The aims and objectives of Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) is to ensure that effective strategic purchasing is undertaken by both the Consortium and its members through developing excellent purchasing initiatives and Framework Agreement Contracts.
