Let's talk about menopause by Jenny Terroni

20 Feb 2020 02:15 pm

Sign up to one of our specialist training courses on the menopause which are taking place on 5 and 12 March.

Although experienced by all women, the menopause is an important and overlooked subject. Some women sail through it; however, three-quarters experience troublesome symptoms and as many as 25% of these have serious symptoms.

Would you know how to support one of your team or a colleague who may be going through the menopause? Or are you and/or family members, friends or colleagues experiencing, or curious about, the menopause and wish you knew more?

Read more below and sign up to one of our specialist training courses for line managers and staff.

LINE MANAGERS

How confident do you feel talking about menopause? Would you know how to support one of your team or a colleague? In this session we’ll cover why we’re talking about menopause, what menopause is, its symptoms and how to provide the right support.

Unfortunately most women are uncomfortable discussing this with their line manager and feel unable to ask for support. We aim to encourage and enable managers and staff to talk openly about the menopause.

COLLEAGUES

What do you know about the menopause? What do you want to know? Are you and/or family members, friends or colleagues experiencing, or curious about, the menopause and wish you knew more?
