Support and Report Working Group

The Support & Report Working Group is a forum for University Staff, Students’ Union representatives and accommodation partners to join collaboratively, sharing ideas and best practice in relation to culture, safety and student experience on and around campus – and online.

The focus of the Group is to:

• Consider any emerging trends across the sector and any recommendations of appropriate activity and proposed actions.
  
  
• Identify and monitor the primary concerns at an institutional level in regards to culture, safety and security, and student experience.
  
  
• Explore the development and implementations of new initiatives to address emerging issues.
  
  
• Review existing practices and procedures and consider recommendations for changes.
  
  
• Share information within the group relating to operation, policy and strategic developments, making recommendations to other groups and committees (as appropriate).

The group is chaired by the Director of Student Experience, and committee support is provided by the Student Experience Projects Team.
