We’ve created some backgrounds you can use on Microsoft Teams of our beautiful Beds campuses.

You can download the images and upload them as your background for meetings. Simply click the below links and save any of the images to your desktop or documents to then use as a background.

How to change your Microsoft Teams background

1. Make sure the image is saved somewhere easy to find on your computer
2. You can change your background either in the window that appears when you click ‘Join’ on a call, or while you are already on the call
3. If you are changing your background on the window before you have entered the call, click “Background filters” underneath your video preview and skip to point 5.
4. If you are changing your background when you are already on the call, click the three dots at the top of your screen and then “Apply background effects”
5. If you have already added the image on a previous occasion, skip to point 6. If this is the first time, click ‘Add New’ and select the image from your computer
6. Scroll to the bottom of the available background images – the image you just uploaded will be there
7. Select this image
8. You can see a preview of how this image will look. If you are changing your background before entering the call you will see this automatically; if you are changing your background while already in the call then you will need to click ‘Preview’. The image may appear mirrored for you but everybody else will see it the right way round
9. If you have not yet joined the call, click “join now”. If you are already in the call, click “Apply”
10. Repeat this process but select the circle with a line through it if you wish to return to your ‘real life’ background.
