Building Evacuation Controller

This course is designed for those persons who have been nominated as a Building Evacuation Controller and is designed in line with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2006. The training will cover;

• Understanding the responsibilities of a Building Evacuation Controller
• Understanding the responsibility of Fire Wardens
• Evacuation procedures
• General fire precautions in the workplace

Evacuation Chair

This course is designed for those persons who have been nominated as a Building Evacuation Controller and is designed in line with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2006. The training will cover;

• Understanding the responsibilities of a Building Evacuation Controller
• Understanding the responsibility of Fire Wardens
• Evacuation procedures
• General fire precautions in the workplace

First Aid at Work

This First Aid at Work Courses are for staff who have been nominated as a first aider.

Nominated staff can attend the-

• 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work Course
• 2 day Refresher Course, for first Aiders who have already completed the 3 day course

Or the

• 3 Day First Aid at Work Course
  
  

  1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work Course – 6 hrs

  The 1 day Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work Course will provide the knowledge and confidence to administer First Aid in low risk environments.

  The course provides training for a wide range of topics and scenarios including-

• Understanding the role and responsibilities of a First Aider
• Duties, Delegation and Legal Requirements
• Being able to assess and incident
• Airway Management
• Being able to provide first aid to an unresponsive, unconscious casualty
• The Respiratory System and Circulatory System
• CPR – Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
• Being able to provide first aid to a casualty who is choking
• Being able to provide first aid to a casualty with external bleeding
• Knowing how to provide first aid to a casualty who is in shock
• Knowing  how to provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries

3 Day First Aid at Work Course – 18 Hrs

The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work course will provide First Aid training for higher risk environments and includes the 1 day Emergency First aid at Work course, with 2 extra days for additional scenarios and hands on training.

2 Day Refresher Course

This course is only for First Aiders who have already completed the 3 day course.

All courses includes AED training.

The training is delivered in house in a classroom setting and to ensure applicants get the most effective learning experience, training group size is limited to 12 people.

At the end of the course applicants complete a Multiple Choice test.

Each learner will receive a first aid booklet and n successful completion of this course, will receive a First aid at work certificate which is valid for three years. This course meets the requirements specified by the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
