The University of Bedfordshire’s network of visiting Fellows enhances the University’s mission by contributing to a vibrant, ambitious academic community, celebrating diversity and the transformative power of education.
Visiting Fellowships are awarded to recognise an agreed contribution for a set period of time by an individual who is not a member of staff but will strengthen a specific area of the University’s teaching, research, innovation or community engagement activities.
The visiting Fellow will have a well-established academic or external standing that benefits the interests of the University.
The Fellowships are for individuals who will make a measurable contribution to the activities of the University and are not suitable for individuals who wish to get a general experience of the UK University system.
The University also awards honorary degrees and honorary Fellowships that are reserved for individuals with a close connection to the University whose contribution has been outstanding.
