"Giving As You Earn" is a straightforward, tax efficient way to support the University. Donations are deducted from payroll before tax so each £1 you give will only cost you 80p - only 60p if you are a higher rate tax payer. There's a simple section of the form to fill in.

Gifting shares instead of cash has direct tax benefits. Provided you pay sufficient income tax you could be able to claim income tax and capital gains tax relief. Contact the Development Office for more information.
Leaving a gift in your will is easy to arrange. For many people, gifting is something that remains beyond them during their lifetime. No matter how big or small all legacy gifts are protected in the University accounts and can be set up to support a specific cause dear to your heart.
